Arise Dance Academy provides dance education, tutoring, educational services, and camps to the youth of Taylor, Tx and surrounding communities.
Our mission is to instill a great love of dance and strengthen self-confidence, discipline, and respect for the performing arts.
Director of Education- Miss J
Justine Lorentzen
Miss J is an educator, advocate, and multi-passionate entrepreneur with a love for health and wellness.
She dreamed of creating a creative place for kids where everyone felt included, valued, and could grow their skillset in a safe enviornment. Que- Arise Dance Academy. Where dance/movement meets creative learning.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Sam Houston State, where she earned National Collegiate Dance Champion. She has helped thousands of dancers grow from beginners to competitive athletes over the last 15 years while continuing her education.
She previously was a Principal of a Private STEM school, and currently is building programs for children as an entrepreneur, and an advocate for children and families in Texas.
She is dedicated to allowing dance education to develop responsible, determined, and creative problem solvers in society.
Director's Assistant- Miss Nallely
Nallely Alvarez
Miss Nallely is a mother of two, and has a love of dancing and family.
She is excited to help our dance community grow and produce shows on stage that thrill the dancers and their families.
When she is not at the studio, you can find her dancing and hanging out with her family!
